Add Dupree to the list of former Steelers who took their talents elsewhere for a payday? Not blaming him necessarily but….. 0 sacks so far on the season.

looks like Manny Sanders is still the only ex Steeler who’s done well in 21 since leaving the burgh (maybe Fieler too?)

Dupree had his first sack today vs. Chiefs.

Most don't do well , FO apparently is pretty good at knowing when to move on. But damn do I miss expecting at any time on a punt a huge game changing play. Sandoobio

Dupree looked good today. Think he/Titans screwed up having him play opening two weeks and then have to sit almost a month again.

Dupree is one of those guys that is much much better looking because of the system and a dominate player like TJ Watt.

TJ is like Gretzky, when you put him on a team everyone around him gets better because teams have to focus on stopping him. I'm not saying Dupree sucks, just that he's a good player, not great. But you have to admit he had a great year last season (before getting hurt) because teams had to block TJ.

I grew up in the 80's a huge Flyers fan. Perfect example was the defensive pairing of Mark Howe and Brad McCrimmon. Mark Howe was a stud defensemen like Ray Bourque that would eat up 30+ minutes a game. He and McCrimmon were a dominate pairing. So much so that they pushed Gretzky's 80's teams to seven games in Cup finals almost winning. Then McCrimmon got traded and was still a good defensemen but he was never great again without Howe. Dupree is the same.

Anyone know how mike hilton is doing? The bengals defense seems to be improved. I'm wondering how much of an impact Hilton has on that (since he is in cincy now)

He certainly looked good against the Steelers.

Conner has 2 TD’s today but he hasn’t broken the 100 yard mark yet this season, Ravens are trying to get something- anything out of Bell - but he’s clearly a backup at this point in his career

Steelers pick of Harris in the first is looking better and better

he looks like he’s dropped off lately, as has their defense overall, he has only one pass defended, and no int’s so far this year

Conner is leading the league in TDs pending what Cooper Krupp does tonight...

Olaqwerty and Roche both playing better than Dupree.

Roche had 4 tackles, 2 QB hits and 1 sack yesterday for the Giants. Not bad.

I think that it is fairly clear that the Steelers really miscalculated on the Jones vs Quincy Roche choice. Jones was exposed as totally unable to translate his "preseason hero" status to production in NFL games and they noped the heck out of having him get worked over as quickly as they could. In contrast, Roche seems to continue to progress and develop.

The Steelers don't often get one this clearly wrong. But they did this time.

Conner blew up yesterday something like 175 total yards (rushing / receiving ) and 3 TDs .... 40 fantasy points

Agreed. Roche was one of the draft picks/UDFA that I was hoping would make the roster and develop.

Bell had his best day rushing so far this year. 11 carries for 48 yards (4.4 avg) and a TD. But his carries have been limited so it’s difficult to assess whether he really is still a decent RB or not. But he looked ok yesterday.
