Two of the bottom four were in the Super Bowl.

Hmmm…

It's almost like a 1st round RB is useless without run blocking in front of him :coffee:

Two of the four also have far superior Quarterback play to compensate for low rushing totals.

On the rare occasions they even bother running.

It's also play calling. I know the OL isn't stellar, but they are not the cause of every single problem with this pathetic offense. The play calling has been horrible. And I have watched Harris miss holes so I am concerned about his vision.

Yeah and if the Steelers had Brady or Mahomes they would have had similar success. Hilarious to ignore the generational talent that KC has at QB or the GOAT in TB.

Mahomes 14-4 when throwing 40+ times.

Brady's winning % 40+ is about .660 IIRC.

Ben's winning % throwing 40+ times is around .350 IIRC.

Not the same thing.

That's like if the Houston Rockets had designed an offense to have Robert Horry in ISO because it worked for the Bulls with Jordan.

Mahomes is the Barry Sanders of QB, he does things that QB's are told to never do in the NFL (roll out one way, throw across your body to the opposite side of the field) and ends up making some ridiculous plays

An offensive line doesn't have to be great at run blocking AND pass blocking, but they better be good at one of them.

These QB'S played in different offensive systems.

Tom Brady has played behind great offensive lines nearly his entire career while the Patriots were also highly ranked In rushing yards or rushing touchdowns. Don't compare this offensive line to any of those. Anytime Brady got pressured with four rushers, he looked average at best.

You watched Mahomes get destroyed in the Super Bowl when his OL sucked like this one is currently playing, so knock off the stupid comments.

You should appreciate what Ben has done over his career, not bash him when he's late in his career and getting abused because he can no longer overcome a shitty OL playing in front of him.

I would recommend a young Earl Campbell or Walter Payton if either were available in this generation.

How can a team and coach be given a singular most-important mission by ownership every year and continue to fail miserably? How does it keep happening??

He has a 9-6 record as a starter? Can’t ask for much more than that.

2019 - comically inept passing game due to horrible back-up QBs. Defenses scoffed at passing and just stomped on the rushing game.
2020 - comically inept passing game due to poor play from the physically diminished starting QB. Defenses scoffed at the passing attack and just stomped on the running game.
2021 - comically inept passing game...I think we all know where this is going.

You can't run the ball (even if they had a really great line) if the opposition looks at your passing attack and has to keep from falling over with laughter.

Yes and its the top 5 GM's and the top 5 coach's jobs to fix that. And the passing game with Ben is not comically inept, just bottom half (15-18).

By most statistical measures it's bottom 5. Totals from 2020 were inflated by high volume.

Hilarious of you to assume you understand my intentions.
