One last go at it. Let's hope that the nosedive at the end had more to do with the injury than age. If so, maybe another year to heal/prepare can squeeze one last go from #7. I still see no reason why they can't win the AFCN. I'm not impressed with Mayfield or Jackson and Cinci has too far to climb.

Once again. The "nose dive" wasn't on him. Teams started to realize we had NO run game. Name one quarterback that would do well with a 32nd ranked rushing attack.

In addition to the other problems, yeah he played poorly whether you think so or not.

For the second half of the season. First half of the season he was pretty good. I’m wondering if that injury he suffered to his leg in Dallas was part of it.

They could have a much better shot if they can establish a respectable running game. Can that be done in the course of a season though? Ben at his current age can't sling the ball 50 times and win. Actually in his entire career, his W/L record was not good when he passed over a certain number of times. He can win a championship on the legs of a strong run game, but isn't the guy to carry a team to a championship on his arm alone. Not a knock against him, there's really only 2-3 QB's good enough to do that in the league at any given time.
