The NFL has signed with Disney. ESPN keeps Sunday Night Football. ABC gets a Super Bowl (every four years). Most importantly... the salary cap will go UP!!!
Bring back Sutton, JuJu, & Hilton.
Extend TJ.
Sign JJ.

JJ is looking for $15-16 million.
I'd rather re-sign Dupree and extend Nelson.

I still think that we could get the “family discount” ($7-8 million) for one season.
But, Yes, for $15 million, we could essentially extend / re-sign all of our own players.

Oh goody, hopefully every game has a completely woke pre-game show to tell me how bad I am based on my melanin level! Maybe they can send me some Bill Gates approved synthetic meats as well!
And no thanks to JJ. He doesn't play in a 3-4 defense and at his age with all the miles (and back injuries which are the worst) on his body I'll pass. Let someone else over pay him. I'd much rather have Bud.

Whoops!!!
Yes... Monday Night Football I think they had to keep Monday Night football or ESPN was a dead man walking. That is the only thing I watch on there an only reason I get it in at times.

As a guess, how much will the cap go up with this news? I mean above where it was projected to be prior to Big Ears.

Just texted with an NFL head coach about the upcoming cuts and what he expects…
“It’s going to be a massacre next week all around the league”

I am not hearing much about the cap going up. Still seems like 180 from what I am reading. I am not ruling out the fact that I must be missing something here. I am kinda old and still enjoy my tokes, so.....

180 is the minimum I believe. The issue is what the max will be. Last I read it was thought to be between 185 and 190, but much closer to 185. I don't think that will change much regardless of the new TV deal because the league and the players are already borrowing against future caps. Somewhere I read that if the cap was based on the actual income numbers it would be around 165 million. Can you imagine?
