I only left once or twice a week for groceries. Russ picked up takeout on Saturday nights. If I were being paid hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars and was asked to stay home and stay safe for a few months to get through the season, I think I could handle it.

It's not about people dying It's about keeping a team on the field for a few months and getting big bucks to do it.

It is pretty clear what is going on across the NFL. Players think they are "safe" as long as it it is teammates and their families because they (every player and coach) is getting tested regularly and they spend so much time together. So the logic is that I know I don't have it and these guys can't have it because they got tested...etc.

Clearly that isn't how this works and getting NFL players and what-not to understand that is just going to be a constant uphill struggle.

Not surprisingly, a league that insisted that all you had to do was test and social distance (not a bubble, not reschedule, etc) has created an environment where its employees/players are not totally understanding all their risk factors.

Players should know by now that the virus is only off limits while on the field and in the locker room. If the same two players next to each other on the line and then in the locker room decide to ride together in a car... well... they become idiots. The deal is only for the field and the locker room.

Since everyone is being held to such standards....who here puts their used disposable mask into a biohazard bag? Or does it just get thrown into the trashcan? I find it very odd that even working in a healthcare facility there are no hard, fast rules on how I should dispose of my used disposable masks, with how contagious this virus is and all. The masks are not even sterile. The box is opened and people come to get one from the same box whenever they feel they need a new one. That's not even basically sanitary now that I think on it. Also, how often should I Purell the outside of the purell bottle?

It would be GREAT if everyone took COVID deadly serious but they DON'T. Those that Politize it do everything in their powers to hide the fact that they have or even had it. They go to great lengths to deny every single detail of Scientific FACTS. They go out in PUBLIC with FULL BLOWN symptoms and walk amongst others. For him to get back, the Steelers will have to win their first playoff game without him. After that, if he gets over the virus quickly, he will have a chance to play in the second round. If the virus lingers and he has longer lasting symptoms and effects, then it is possible he misses significant time and may miss the entire postseason no matter how far they go.

Let's wish him a speedy recovery for himself and his family first and foremost.
