He does not really step into his throws and is just using his arm to pass the ball, and has little power behind it. They go against the soft zones of the defense and look successful. Then they face defenses with 11 guys within 8 yards of the LOS abs try to throw into crowded spaces to receivers running high school routes and then when they see it’s not working, they don’t know what to do. Then they go back to practice and try it again and it works. Then back to the game and it doesn’t work.

If Tomlin doesnt fire Fichtner at the end of this season after finishing 0-6 with one of the worst offenses in the history of the league, Rooney should fire Tomlin.

He's the guy dropping a million passes, running the wrong routes, not fighting for extra yards, running backwards after every catch to try for a big play and changing 8 yard gains into 3 yard gains, going to the ground to not take a hit, and not blocking hard.

This is the bottom falling out completely on the Ben/Tomlin era.

Someone has to pull Ben aside and tell him doing things his way isn't working and some changes need to be made. But Tomlin is a figurehead at best, and Ben holds greater sway over him. So Tomlin gets his boys club together and not put together an NFL offense, but rather doing what makes Ben happy and comfortable. There is a culture in the Steelers locker room where one player is better than everyone else. That creates this mess.

Tomlin is set to make history as the first coach to start 11-0, and not win another game. That's truly incredible.

got to do it. Name of the game is move the ball, doesn’t matter who’s in there. If they’re not moving the ball get someone else in there. I remember tomlin saying something like that last year. They owe it to the defense at least.

I am sure you are correct, which is one additional reason why I think this team needs wholesale changes and a fresh start after this season. I appreciate all Tomlin has done, but I think he has gotten "stale" in Pittsburgh and a new coaching staff is needed going forward. We need an offensive coaching staff that can groom a new QB and be creative. We need a QB, RB, and some new O-linemen too, so it's not just coaches...........but I think it is time to get "new" across the board on offense.
