Large Benjamin is back at practice today, and by the time they're again playing a meaningful game -- the Steelers are on bye this week -- Ben and his teammates will have had two full weeks to reacclimate to one another.

Without Roethlisberger, the Steelers are 3-1, with the only loss coming to the Ravens, who, some will tell you, are the best team in football (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/peter_king/10/04/week4/index.html?eref=sihp).

So how much better can the Steelers get?..............

Thanks for the article.

It is an interesting read. I think our O line has improved quite a bit and as such, when Ben comes back, it is going to be quite exciting.

really?? THAT Is the picture they use for an article?

anyway, anything will be better than what we have had the last four games. Hopefully ben comes out slinging against the browns and makes us forget about dixon and batch immediately

i hope they dont change their play calling too much though and start to become pass happy again. got a great thing going with mendy and the line on running. keep the run/pass ratio the same!

I'm afraid it's going to same shit, different year. I hope I'm wrong. I'll gladly be wrong.

Should Ben be a little rusty, maybe take some unnecessary risks with the ball, and the Steelers drop a game or two ... considering all the other circumstances, it might not take much for the fanbase to turn violently against him.

Why do we have to get thrown under the bus???? Media makes us to look like all bandwagoners...

I'd say "1 win better" at this point in the season.

The team will be better from game one with him. Teams will for sure have to prepare for him alot different. I would say him and Wallace are already talking deep ball.

That first game back could be interesting. They might be sky high and play well, OR they might just sigh a collective sigh of relief it's all over, and be flatter than a pancake.

I'm thinking the first game back will be more of an indication of Tomlins' ability to keep them focused than on #7 being back.

The Steelers will be even better with Ben back at the helm. Though our OL still isn't what I would like it to be, it is improved from last season with Pouncey and Flo and that's a huge plus with Ben coming back. I'm so looking forward to the Ben/Wallace bombs! :yay3:

I'd like to see a 60/40 pass/run ratio. Ben has the arm and the smarts and I don't think the Steelers want to stifle the talents of their $102 mil franchise QB.

I think Ben should take it slow, stay on the sidelines to get back into the feel of the game and Batch should continue to be the starter till week 10.

NOT!

Something I noticed a lot in the first few games was Wallace is getting open A LOT! So Im really excited to think Ben will always find him as his deep threat and throw that ball perfectly to him down the field several times a game, should be exciting to see!
