Defenses constantly crowding the line of scrimmage and defensive backs draping to receivers like flypaper is a sign that the defense is not at all threatened by anything the offense does. If the Steelers were a threat to do anything otherwise, like a professional NFL Offense, the Defense would have to account for different things. Throwing the ball constantly and being one-dimensional is not good. No matter who is under center. It didn't help Dan Marino, it will help nobody.

It's all scheme, resulting in comically bad quarterback play, which hurts the scheme even more.

This is what happens when you have a buddy for an offensive coordinator to keep the quarterback "happy" instead of doing what needs to be done to help the team win.

Defenses constantly crowding the line of scrimmage and defensive backs draping to receivers like flypaper is a sign that the defense is not at all threatened by anything the offense does. If the Steelers were a threat to do anything otherwise, like a competent NFL Offense, the Defense would have to account for different things. Throwing the ball constantly and being one-dimensional is not good. No matter who is under center. It didn't help Dan Marino, it will help nobody.

It's all scheme, resulting in comically bad quarterback play, which hurts the scheme even more.

This is what happens when you have a buddy for an offensive coordinator to keep the quarterback "happy" instead of doing what needs to be done to help the team win.
