I know they changed all the kickoff rules a few years back, I just always thought if you touched outside the endzone then carried it back in it was a live ball (so tackling you in the endzone would be a safety).

I don’t think it ever really makes sense to go for 2 in the first half because you have no idea what the scoring situation will be going forward. That one missing point could very well make a difference. It’s like Tomlin gets these gut feelings and he should know by now that his gut is ALWAYS wrong.
