Too much risk and very little reward if the steelers sign Bell

Bell is far from being the same player as in 2016 and one of the reasons the steelers have been drama free since 2019 is that Bell is gone ... Not the only reason of course, but it's a big reason .

I don't want to know anything about the drama once again, whether in the locker room, social media or other things

I am not sure that Current Bell is better that prime Westbrook or McCoy

It would be "on brand" for at least this season. Every time the Steelers have needed a player to patch a roster hole, they have preferred going to the well for a former Steeler. Bell is the only former RB option out there.
