When is he going to be fired?
His players always play worse with him, he is perhaps one of the worst HC ever who has been HC for at least 5 seasons ... He should thank Peyton Manning every day since he would be much less rich without the 2013 season of Manning

If the jets lose against Brett Rypien and the Broncos,no reason for the jets to keep Gase.Greg Williams can be a good interim HC.

At this point, it's best to keep him around for the rest of the season. Why you ask? To increase their chances for Trevor Lawrence

Gase is great for winning unnecessary games at the end ... Like last year when his team finished at 7-9 after starting the season 1-7

The Jets just lost to a depleted Broncos team with Brett Rypien as QB and the Broncos had to make a long trip to New York in a very short week

Just think, the poor football fans in the NY-NJ metro area are punished weekly by having to watch the Jets and Giants every Sunday.
I’m betting that Direct TV’s Sunday Ticket is still doing well there.

Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields should both stay in school another year if the Jets do get the first pick (which is likely)

And yet you suggest Greg Williams who will be more likely to put up unnecessary wins

Why fire him? The jets are so bad, they need the 1st overall pick. Firing Gase means they might win a game or two they wouldn't have with Gates. With Covid-19, stadiums are empty anyway.

The biggest reason to fire Gase is related to Sam Darnold and the #1 pick. Is Sam Darnold terrible and a bust? Or is the Gase led offense just so awful that it drags everyone down with him? I tend to think the latter. Look how supposed "busts" like Devontae Parker and Ryan Tannehill and Kenyan Drake (although not so much this year) flourished when playing for NOT Adam Gase.
Long story short...say that Darnold can be a "franchise" guy. Then the Jets, if they land the 1.1 can hold an auction for whoever wants to come get Trevor Lawrence. OR...say that you fire Gase and Darnold's play rebounds...but you still want Lawrence. What would a rehabilitated Sam Darnold (young "franchisey" QB) on the trade market be worth? Would a team like the Saints or the Steelers give up a package to get their succession plan in place? I have no idea. But with Adam Gase liquefying everything he touches into diarrhea, neither do the JETS.
Final point, Becton (their prized rookie OT) was only supposed to play in an emergency. Gase sent him in over the listed back-up. Becton had to take himself out due to the pain of his injury. That is just bad coaching. Why would you risk the keystone of your OL for the next decade for one game in a season where you are not going to compete anyways?

Great point and this is my point too.
The culture is more important that to have the first overall pick.

The Jets have now the worst offense in the league with a bottom 3 defense.

Lol...so what do they do with the first pick? Do they go with Darnold and draft something else? Do they part ways with Darnold and go QB? Do they just blow up the whole damn team and start from scratch???

Adam Gase is one of the biggest frauds to ever stalk an NFL sideline. How does no one associated with the JETS realizing this?
Actually, I hope they don't until late this season or early this off-season. Then they fire everyone below ownership. They draft a QB in the first round and dump Darnold at cut rate prices. Steelers make it work. Darnold sits for a year as the #3 and rebuilds his game. Ascends to the #2 for a year. Ben R retires and Darnold steps in and plays at say a Kirk Cousins level for a few years.

What a nonsense of an organization. Even if you feel you are better without Leveon Bell, why continue to give ancient Frank Gore all the carries? He is not going to part of your roster when you get good again. Why not give reps to younger guys that you have invested in to see if they can play at a high enough level in the NFL?
Literally, every single decision this team makes is a bad one that only serves to continue the cycle of awful. Everyone associated with this organization needs fired.

Absolutely. No way they get rid of Gase until end of season, or once the #1 pick is locked up.
Then, you let him go as a sign of moving forward. Hire Eric Bienemy as Head Coach, sign a vet like Fitzpatrick or Andy Dalton to a 2 year deal as Veteran QB, shop Darnold for draft picks and sign a veteran O lineman like Matt Feiler or Mike Remmers to pair with Beckton.

Or pull an Eli Manning. That was a smart move back then (although it's being said that that was more on Archie Manning), because I doubt Eli would have won 2 rings with the Chargers. Especially considering that he has never been THAT great a QB. I mean, in his prime he was pretty good, but never like his brother, or guys like Brees, Rodgers and Brady.
If you wanna be succesful in the NFL it's a smart move to avoid organizations such as the Jets or Browns.
