Kamara want also a new contract and the saints are going to be in a crazy cap hell next year(70 millions over the cap if the salary cap is at 175 millions),so maybe they have no choice

they are cap tight moving forward ... to give him that kind of jingle is gonna hurt them somewhere else .. so I can see why they would hear offers

In fact, the saints will be 75 millions over the salary cap if the cap is only at 175 millions!

I definitely feel like the further he gets from Drew Brees and Sean Payton the less productive he’s going to be.

you very well may be right , it wouldn't be the first time we have seen a guy who piles up the numbers and falls off the earth when he moves on to a different system

All the "star" RBs in recent seasons switching teams/demanding trades/holdout etc
I can't keep track

At this point the RB has really become replaceable and a lot of a RB's success is having a lot to do with the O-line, QB, and offensive system. Not sure the RB is worth the big bucks.

Ultimately though I think it’s the Saints just playing the game with Kamara.

idk they are 75 million over the cap for 2021 as it stands , making that number larger doesn't seem to be a great idea

There will be some sort of relief or adjustment if the cap is $175M. 3/4 of the league will be dumping players left and right if that happens...lol.

Tom Brady may have made a good decision with the Bucs if the Saints start imploding.

I think the NBA did something with adjustments awhile back when their cap got fiddled with. Gave teams a mechanism to clean up their books rather than releasing every veteran.
No idea what the NFL will do. But it will have to be something or the Vince Williams and Eric Ebrons of the world are playing their last season.

it must be horrifying for players to be thinking about this and having to try and imagine the possibility of playing for 1-2 million a year instead of 7 million a year or 10 million a year instead of 24 million etc etc those poor bastards ...........
sorry I do not feel sorry
