He's as good as anybody they could have selected. He's an ex-player, an ex-coach, and a fantastic human being with ultimate class.

I don't think it is possible to add Tony Dungy to anything and make it worse. It can only be a positive.

He is trying to be a good role model in a society sorely lacking them. He's not perfect as John Gruden proved.

Oh there are plenty of role models around if you know where to look. IMO one of the last places to look is the NFL and the other professional leagues. Pretty hard to tell who they really are.

To be fair though that was an unkind, and probably inaccurate, shot at Dungy on my part.
