Hammer out this new deal! He's gotta take a discount for Derek! I wanna see him retire with the Steelers.
Watt has been my favorite Steeler since JPeezy

This may be the biggest no-brainer in the history of no-brainers.
In his first 47 games in the NFL, T J Watt has: 3 interceptions, 18 passes defensed, 15 forced fumbles, 4 fumble recoveries, 34.5 sacks, 177 combined tackles(125 solo, 52 assisted), 36 tackles for loss, and 70 quarterback hits

All TJ's agent has to do is write that down on a piece of paper; set it on the table, and walk out of the room.

Pffft... he should have sat out his rookie season. Typical Tomlin: giving the job to a splash player.

Luckily we had the draft analysis of an expert here at the board and a man with the skills of a highly rated NFL GM to let us know how it should have gone down. Now everyone knows what a fool Mike Tomlin was for playing Watt over Harrison. :sarcasm2:

Some thought (like Mel Kiper JR) that his brother had helped T.J to be drafted in the first round!

While that stat is impressive for TJ Watt; it should be pinned to the top of this message board so that some can be reminded about what a true "bust" at OLB looks like.
