Gotta say...I’m happy to see him get signed...this way there’s no thought that he could return to Pittsburgh.

Hopefully the Bears have 2 good starting CBs so they don't have to play him much. Still can't believe they spent a 1st round pick on him. He was worse than even the 3rd round prospect everyone said he was

Well, I guess Chicago wasn't paying attention at all.

once you get drafted in the top 50 picks, you will be on a roster until your athleticism goes.
Coaches think they will be able to guru whisper players and unlock their potential.

As long as the price is right
Right now three #1 picks (Clowney, Winston, & Newton) are looking for teams

Point well taken. I should've added that it works best if you're willing to take a minimum contract

I got nothing against him. Here's hoping he can make something of himself in Chicago.

While he was a disappointment here, I hope he can make the roster in Chicago. I thought I read he was the sole source of income for his family.

That is about the best way of putting it that I have ever heard.

Superbowl!
Can I still say that in a non-Steelers part of the forum? :smoker:
He was never a proper fit in Pittsburgh playing on his weak side, but was never good enough to replace the dominant on the right side either.
