Why not? Mendy was six yards away from putting up another 100 on them in Baltimore last year.

Just as we should be concerned with Mr. Rice, the Rats should be concerned with Mendenhall, who is running better than he ever has and the Steelers Run Blocking significantly improved with Pouncey and Legursky in the middle.

Oh I agree with ya... I was just poking fun at them...

Wow. They are all homers on that thread. All have chosen less than 100 yards.

I think there is a good chance he'll hit 100 yards....especially if he gets close to 25 carries.

Um no, it's just hard to get 100+ on the Ravens. They're loosening the screws in recent years though.

I can see him getting around 80 yards and they will be no easy yards.

I think Mendy will get close to or over 100 yards especially since he's playing in our house. I really don't care how many yards he gets - as long as he gets into that EZ once or twice and I'll be just peachy with it.

I'll take a "W" over 100+ yard effort anytime...... now if Mendy crosses the century mark and we also get the "W" that will just be an added bonus. :)

Couldn't agree more....I could care less about individual accolades, it's all about the W

EDIT--I just remembered I have Mendy in two of my fantasy leagues, so individual accolades are very important, lol.

With this years new O-line coach, new players AND this years high team motivation, he "should" get 100+...

As others said, the most important thing is getting the big fat W regardless the stats :noidea: If Rashard, Isaac and Mewelde run for 70 yards combined BUT get some important 3rd. down conversions AND a couple of TD's I'll be happy

Aren't they giving up an average of 120ypg?

That is what I was thinking. I think they have given up two back to back 100 yard games.

Rushing allowed by Bmore
Stains had 173 yds
Cincy had 95 yds
Jets had 116 yds

Avg of 129 yds

I think he should get right around one hundred yards on Sunday, if not more.

I believe Mendy himself would tell us that he will get what ever it takes to win the game. A 2 yard run for a TD means a lot more than a 20 yard run at 4th and 25.

That is so true! I too would take the 2 yard TD any day of the week!

Just to be conservative, I'll say between 70-115 yds. CONSERVATIVE.

Boo Yah! :applaudit:

I sure would like him to burn Stabbit Ray for a long scamper into the EZ, though, to give him a little "clean" payback for the hit Ray Ray laid on him last season which resulted in the broken wing that ended his season last year.

Everybody outside of Pittsburgh is picking the Ravens. I really don't know what they are smoking unless it is to cause some kind of controversy for the haters to come out and push ratings higher.

I see our D imposing its will and forcing the Rat's O to tap out by the 3rdQ. All our O needs to do is take care of the ball and score three TDs to win it. Expect Mendy to run for 150 and score two of three TDs.

If Mendy gets at least 20 carries, he'll get 100+ yards. Batch has to contribute though. Get the passing game going and that'll open up the running game.

Well here we go. The Ravens always bring thier best game when it comes to us. They rode the bus away losers more times than winners when they came to our house. Mendy should get 100 yds if he continues to show the patience he has thus far. Yes.....if he uses the dreaded by most,(spin move),he should manage somwhere around 106. He must show the patience he has shown in letting his blockers set up first. He is a bud just beginning to blossum.

Baltimore is 22nd in the league against the run.

Mendenhall is 4th in the league in rushing.

He ran for 143 yards last week, is averaging over 5 yards per carry, and our line looked great last week.

Plus we will be running A LOT.

100 yards is just as likely as the 50-70 every single one of the homers is predicting.

So I will stand by my Baltimore homers comment. lol.

I think Mendenhall's chances of rushing for 100+ yards would have been substantially higher if Ben was at QB. But if Batch has problems connecting through the air and Baltimore can stack the box, Mendy may have trouble getting 75. Yes, the Ravens have given up more rushing yardage than customary this year, but as every Ravens-Steelers game proves, stats can be flushed down the terlit. Both franchises bring their A game.

Batch is not your run of the mill QB. Although he has been through the mill so to speak. He does not have the happy feet, and he knows when, and where to take a shot at the big pass. He showed it perfectly last week, and i expect even more veteran savvy from him this week. He will not hold on to the ball all day long.Don't think he is gonna be back there taking sacks all day long.To throw the ball away, and avoid the sack is something you learn through time.Watch and learn young bucks.Where people think you're over the hill in your mid thirties is a mystery to me. Mendenhal will feed off of Batch. He gets 106 easy.

Yep.

I remember a guy who wore #36---didn't he have a 3-yard game with 2 touchdowns?!! I'll take it!
