Couldn't have happened to a nicer piece of shit. That guy was seriously gonna kill somebody eventually.
Hopefully, this is the end of him in the NFL.

This action should have been taken after the 2015 season. At his best, Roger an the league office continues to be behind the curve
I'm actually surprised it took him until the 4th game. Good riddance.

I never felt the least bit bad about hoping for him to suffer a very serious injury.
He was a thug in college, he’s been nothing but a thug in the NFL.
Calling him a piece of shit disrespects shit.

I don't know why they'd care after Burfict moved to Oakland. The difference between people like Suh/ Burfict vs Ward/ Harrison is intent. Is he trying to instill fear by inflicting pain, or is he trying to get players off the field by injuring them?

What's Pac Man Jones doing currently, btw? Pac Man Jones is the all-time leader in arrests for an NFL player, and by a mile...

Talented player in the past and skills are diminishing with age and career is probably over as well. Good radiance to him and AB in the NFL. Wow Raiders what was you thinking ? You guys are also better by subtraction!

He effectively just suspended himself for life. By getting himself levied with the most significant suspension ever handed down, no other head coach will take a chance on him.
Why would you want a player on your roster who's just one cheap shot away from getting tossed for the rest of the season and screwing up your roster? I'll be willing to bet the owners blackball him in the off-season. He'll never play another down of football.

The Raiders took their chance before he got a season-long suspension. Nothing like this has ever happened before in the NFL. This 12-game suspension (if you want to call it that) is a game-changer.

That's what I'm saying, the Bengals fans always defended Burfict, saying he was no different than James Harrison. Now that he's no longer playing for the Bengals, I wonder if their fans would still defend that hit that got him suspended.

Ah, cheating at casino games. Looks like he was busted for "capping," the most amateur-hour cheating method there is. (Simply adding extra chips to your bet in blackjack after you know you've won but before they've paid out.)
Funny thing about that is, you almost always are going to get caught doing it. In order to win any significant amount of money, you have to do it over and over with small chips, or else put on a chip that is completely out of place with the original bet and is going to be noticed right away. And then when you get caught once, they go back through the videos and have foolproof evidence of you doing it 20 other times. Not the tactic of mental giants.

Did AB ever have any? He was doing celebrations when he knew he would get 15 yards.( still crack up on the failed goal post mount).

John Gruden won a championship with players associated with Mike Tomlin. So, you really can’t blame Gruden for bringing in AB and Burfict.

Honestly, that second one looks pretty tame, the kind of play no one would bat an eye over a few years ago or with a different name on the back of the jersey. I have about as low of an opinion of Burfict as you can have, but they are really just piling on for whatever extra PR points exist for that in their minds.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but going back and watching the original dirty hit, the Colts TE was clearly looking to get up and try to run for more yards if no one tackled him. He wasn't a defenseless guy down on one knee trying to give himself up.
Burfict is a POS and his out-of-control play definitely is going to continue getting people hurt if they allow him - but if that one is what they're using as the last straw, I've gotta say that's lame.

Well, it's kinda when you're on probation because you were convicted of a crime earlier. You will be watched more closely and any infraction will lead to much more severe punishment than other people who do the same would get because you are a repeat offender. Burfict is well known for hitting people on purpose at least reckless, probably even intentional.

Well yeah, but I really don't think either of those were actual infractions, like borderline for even being a penalty at all. It really, REALLY pains me to stick up for Burfict, but they are basing the whole thing on the first play against the TE being a dirty hit with intent to injure, and have gone out of their way to drive that point home. Well, it wasn't actually a dirty hit or a late hit or intentional, or anything of the kind, the guy was trying to get up and run. Burfict is an asshole who makes dirty plays on a regular basis, but that wasn't one of them. It was a regular play.

They didn’t convict OJ for murder; he went to jail for robbery.
They didn’t convict Al Capone for being a crime lord; he went to jail for tax evasion.
SUMMATION:
The same basically applies now with Burfict.
