Antonio Brown isn’t just battling Raiders general manager Mike Mayock this week, he’s also fighting the dreaded “diva” label that gets attached to talented yet eccentric wide receivers.
And few understand that label better than Hall of Fame wideout Terrell Owens, who offered some advice for Brown
“Just take some steps back,” Owens told The Players’ Tribune, adding he really wants to talk directly with Brown. “Whatever frustration or feelings you have about yourself, just step back and allow your football to do your speaking for you.”
Brandon Marshall, who played 13 NFL seasons and went to six Pro Bowls, also chimed in alongside Owens.
“The games is short-lived, so humble yourself,” Marshall said.
