Ryan Switzer is going to be our kick returner for the second year in row This is the first time since Rod Woodson that a player is the KR for the second year in a row, which is crazy!

In this list (excluding Rod Woodson) who is the top 3 KR of the Steelers since 1994 and who is the worst?

Only play 10 games in his career in Pittsburgh(1998) but he lead the team for the kick returned.

1998 was also a forgettable season for the Steelers, especially after the coin toss decacle in Detroit, so that's probably why you forgot!

I'll say Antwaan Randle El in '02 was the best. #2 JuJu Smith-Schuster #3 Antonio Brown. Worst is a tough one. Stefan Logan?

Wow thank you.

I thought Blackwell had been KR for both 97 and 98. I really don't remember Dunn at all and yes, 98 was a disaster

Davenport? lol I remember those days. We might as well put Rosie Nix as the return man

I can't believe Ike Taylor was on that list, the dude couldnt catch a cold, I'd be sweating if I had to watch him field a kick

Come to think of it, losing AB kinda hurts our situational punt returner situation. We could count on him to make some big plays in the punt return game, but we don't have a player like that right now. I remember him and Santonio Holmes winning us big games, taking a punt return to the house. Our super bowl run was possible in 2008 cause of a Santonio return TD vs the Ravens in a really close game where neither offense could do much.

Sadly, Gary Russell is probably up there, since he would at least get you to the 25-yard line without fucking up too badly. We have had some downright HORRIBLE play back there.

We've had some good punt returners, but our KR team has been slurping on a dog dick for as long as I can remember. It's been so long, I guess the original dog is even dead and they had to get a new one, and that dog is probably getting pretty old by now too. I wonder if they list that in the official transactions.

I think that Logan was one of our best KR,in the Tomlin era at least

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LogaSt00.htm

Very good year with us in 2009 and 2 others good years as KR(and PR) in Detroit.

Logan had 55 kick returns for a 26.7 average and 43 twenty yard plus returns, 4 forty-yard plus returns and 1 fumble.
Randle El, his best year, had 21 returns for a 25.1 average and 16 twenty-plus yard returns, 1 forty-plus yard return. No fumbles.

So, Logan's twenty yard return rate was about 2 percent better and his 40 yard return rate was about 2.5 percent better. I'd say Logan was actually a better kick returner than Randle El (pure kick returner).

Randle El was a great punt returner and better as a PR than as a KR.

4 PR TD's in 4 seasons in his first stint as a Steeler.

I am pretty sure the Steelers just let the best returner since Rod Woodson walk out the door this week.... Diontae Spencer is now a Bronco...........damn

Dri Archer did that for me.

Think they just let a good one go in Spencer and apparently not a priority to them over the years.
