For his 42nd birthday, Tom Brady received a special gift from the New England Patriots: a long-awaited contract extension.
The future Hall of Fame quarterback agreed to terms on a contract extension with New England on Sunday, a source told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. The deal is expected to be a short-term contract, as expected for a player of Brady's age.
Brady was set to enter the final season of a two-year restructured deal before he struck an extension with the Pats this weekend. Before the new contract was agreed to, Brady was scheduled to make $14 million in base salary and carry a $27 million cap hit in 2019.

GOAT goes to Montana.
If Brady goes to Cleveland, he's just another washout. Without the crutch of a system of cheating, he fails before he gets any real experience. Doesn't anyone give credit for his success to cheating?
yeeesh.

And before anyone starts yapping about stats, how many games did the Patriots keep him in the game to pad his stats when the other team was way behind. Any other team of character would pull the starter, but he keeps throwing TDs in what is essentially garbage time.
'07 comes to mind.

Hopefully not. It would be like when Michael Jordan played for the Wizards.

Which made watching the Giants repeatedly knock him on his ass in the SB and the "lesser" Manning hoisting the Lombardi that year all the more enjoyable...

You always got a choice. Fuck that guy.
Hopefully this is the year his abilities go down the shitter all at once in embarrassing fashion, it'd be great to finally see.
