Tevin Jones: Long Shot Outside WR

This is a player I am rooting for to make the 53 this season. He's a long shot and would need to have an insane TC and preseason for that to happen.(Not discussing injuries on here) Tevin Jones is tall at 6'2"/3", fast with a 4.48 40time, and had a good 3cone with a 6.88. Besides those numbers though, this is a guy I personally watched play at UM for the Tigers.(Team bias) Take a look at some Tevin Jones highlights from last season's preseason game vs Carolina. Not a tell all scouting report but you do get to see him get separation and make adjustments to make the catch.

I think they keep five WR's and those players are locked unless someone shows out.

JuJu, Moncrief, Washington, Johnson, Swtizer.

Switz is a lock Imo due to returning abilities, but maybe DJ takes that job? Danny Smith talked highly of his ability to return kick/punts, and if that is the case that could soften Switzer's case for the 53 man roster.

I’m looking at a possible 6 WRs. Moncrief and Johnson, JuJu and Eli/Switzer, Wash and a list of prospects.

Until the TE room fills out or somebody is brought in that Ben trusts, I see keeping 6 WRs.

They’ll keep 6 and it’s already set unless someone blows up big time or someone fails big time in preseason Switzer, Rogers, JuJu, Johnson, Washington, Moncrief. Rogers would be the odd man out at this stage. Switzer is a good locker room guy and teammate. He’s not going anywhere.

Eli was in the doghouse in 2017. He then got injured but he gets signed for 2018. Then, he gets an extension in 2019.

I am surprised he was brought back twice after being in the doghouse. But what the hell do I know? :noidea:

He’s got some spark when he gets the ball. I think he’s another one of those AB types that if he did get a big deal, his ego would blow up!!
