This has all gone south kinda quickly.
This is what losing control of team looks like. Just in case anyone was wondering.

Tomlin took about 10 years before losing control of his team ... Gase has already lost control of his team after only 4 months!

Didn't he also lose control of Miami as well?

Yes and overall he is garbage as coach .... He is an offensive coach and just to look at his offenses in Miami or without Peyton Manning as his QB.
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/GaseAd0.htm
Miami was by far the offense with the least offensive play in the NFL in the last 3 years.

Don't forget that according to our resident contrarian, that Gase only has a bad HC record because he just didn't have the same roster talent as the Steelers. If he would've coached in Pittsburgh he would have equaled or bettered Tomlin's record.
Everyone knows this. No one can deny this point of fact.

The problem with Gase is that he want too much power and control in his team even if he is not good as HC....He was 23-25 in Miami, but with a point differenciel of - 243!!!
If Gase would have been HC of the Steelers, Colbert would have been forced to leave!

Yeah. Gase is trying to run things like he is Bellichek without the actual talent and results!

I don't think he cares honestly as long as he gets paid. I honestly don't even think Leave'on wants to play football anymore. He wants to take a big payday and retire early, kind of like what Mendenhall did

It going to be ugly between Gase and Bell....
Le'Veon Bell's deal with Jets, Adam Gase keeps getting worse
Gase, still touted as one of the league's smartest offensive minds at age 41, is coming off a coaching stint with the Dolphins in which he got limited returns. During his three seasons in Miami, the team finished 17th, 28th and 26th in scoring and 24th, 25th and 31st in total offense. During that same span, the Jets were 30th, 24th and 23rd in scoring and 26th, 28th, 29th in total offense.
...
Money was not an issue for the Jets in free agency, and they needed a complete, savvy feature back to be the centerpiece of the offense to both take pressure off and further the development of potential franchise quarterback Sam Darnold. Maccagnan was right in knowing it was time to splurge on Bell and not settle for a change of pace such as Gase's reported choice, Tevin Coleman.
Gase may think he does not need a back like Bell, but he does, which does not bode well for the prospect of the coach using the RB as much (and as well) as he should.
Further, Gase's history with lead running backs should concern Bell.
Last season, it was clear that Kenyan Drake was the most dynamic option on the Dolphins' offense, yet Gase was fickle about Drake's workload to the point where the RB, relegated to a committe, was an afterthought in several games. In 2017, when it looked like Jay Ajayi was set to build on a big Year 2 with Gase, the coach cooled off quickly on the player. Ajayi was then traded to the Eagles at midseason.
The optimism around what Bell can bring to the Jets' offense is being replaced by questions about whether he and Gase were really meant to mesh. Bell took the money, but he might not be able to run with it as much as he wants.
Before the bitter end, there were good times for Bell with the Steelers. At least he knew where he stood both on and off the field with that organization, for better or for worse. Winning a lot of games along the way helped.
Away from Pittsburgh, it didn't take long for Bell to get a taste of full-on dysfunction.

Yep - as has been discussed before, Ed B. (formerly of the P-G) reported Bell turned down the 2017 offer after his agent Bakari negotiated it and told the Steelers he would recommend Bell take it
https://www.post-gazette.com/sports/steelers/2017/08/18/LeVeon-Bell-contract-agreement-rejection-agent-five-years-12-million-franchise-tag-post-gazette-exclusive/stories/201708180164
I am confident Bell also was calling the shots when the same thing happened in 2018 - once the Rams gave Gurley his mega-deal last summer (which with Gurley’s knee problems is potentially a huge mistake by LA), Bell decided to keep to keep it real by not reporting while Bakari did his best to spin that as social justice
With regard to the Jets, Bell and his agent Bakari, the quote from the movie All The President’s Men applies - “the truth is these aren’t very bright guys, and things got out of hand”

Sometimes you draft an undersized ILB and get Ryan Shazier - sometimes you don't
Lee was the 20th overall pick in the 2016 draft. It was a curious choice, because at 6-foot-1 and 232 pounds, he seemed small to play inside linebacker in the 3-4 defense. The coaching staff downplayed the size factor, saying he fit the growing trend of fast linebackers who could play in space against spread offenses.
The former Ohio State standout struggled in his first two seasons, especially against the run:uhoh:

Le’Veon Bell Says He’s ‘Here To Win Games’ Suggests He’s Not Concerned With Being Liked
....
I’m sure there have been false reports and speculation about him in the past. But there has also been a lot of true reports and speculation. And it certainly wouldn’t be surprising if this report about Gase were indeed true. After all, there was a firing.
To hear him say that he’s “here to win football games” and suggesting that he’s not concerned with whether or not he’s liked is pretty rich given his behavior over recent years. The vast majority of the interview that he conducted after signing with the Jets consisted of how unwelcome he felt in Pittsburgh and how much he wanted to play for a team where he felt like he was wanted.
Many took those comments to be a justification for signing a contract that seemingly was no better, and perhaps even worse, than the reported numbers of the contract that he turned down last summer from the Steelers. And now he’s settling on going to a team who had the third-overall pick and saying he just cares about winning to justify signing with a team where, reportedly, the head coach didn’t want him to be brought in.

So Le'Veon Bell walked away from $14.5 million last year with a coach that wanted him and now will play for $14.5 million this year with a coach that doesn't want him. Got it. #Jets
