There are some nice players on the board.

I'm down with offering both 3rd round picks to select Cornerback Greedy Williams or Wide Receiver DK Metcalf.

There should be a LOT of talent still there in the third round....I think we stand pat.

I think the talent pool for our needs becomes shallow early in round three. Would like my choice at the top of round two instead.

I would do that. I would also then try to trade into the third and skip the 4th and/or 5th round. I’m looking for quality not quantity. If the cane out of the draft with Bush, Murphy, Round 3-4 Grade Player and a typical 7th round TE, I’d be very happy.

Colbert said they wanted to make sure that they have 2 picks today.

He did not say if that means staying where they are.

You can still move into the second round and keep a third rounder...

Too many good names on these lists to pay extra to move up, IMHO. However, if they have a "guy" and feel the need to trade up to get him, I will back their play 100%. I'm just glad to see they have a plan and are doing what it takes to execute it. BTW...Polite may have some 'maturity' issues, but that dude is a badass off the edge. Miller or Winovich would be awesome too.

They certainly could. Pick #47

Along with their R4 & R5 picks, they could get up to Pick #38.

If one of the corners in the top 2 or 3 of their board is still there late in the second, I can see them trading up and killing it with two quality players (Bush and the CB).

Exactly.

Wait... and see when Murphy, Greedy, and RSY start to go. Maybe that is not for 5-6 picks... maybe it is not for 15-20 picks. If it is the latter, then BLAM!!! trade up.
