Not called:

1. Chase Winovich
2. Greedy Williams
3. Darnell Savage (and I like him, but not at 20 and not the position we need imo)

so 15 of the first 20 picks are QBs /o-linemen and d lineman and the best you can come up with for steelers is a guy who does not have good change of direction ( look at his 3 cone ) and just 12 career starts at Temple of all places ....

2. Greedy Williams

Here is exactly what I was talking about in another thread. Some people would be just as disappointed if Greedy is the pick at 20. (And, some would riot if a “me first” corner like DeAndre Baker is chosen.)

SUMMATION:
The Steelers can please some of the people some of the time... but, they will never please every Steelers fan.

Good point, but at the same time, it's not going to be a good sign if everyone is upset with the pick!

I admit that I do not know much about the players for this years draft and of course the steelers have a need on defense, but I would not be upset if the steelers draft a WR in the first round this year if it's not a reach.

I think JuJu will become a great number 1 WR in this league, but he needs some help .... the rest of our WR group is questionable ... maybe it's possible to find some other good WR with our second or third round pick, but one thing is for sure, the steelers need others good WR in his roster.

That’s my point. No matter who is picked, some of the fan base will hate the pick.

Case in point.

You’d be fine with a WR. I’d be fine with a WR (namely AJ Brown). But, a whole lotta Steelers fans would SCREAM if a WR was indeed the pick. (Make sense?)

I think the vast majority of steelers fan would scream if the steelers draft a WR in round one (even if it's not a reach), which I do not understand much since the WR's behind JuJu is questionable right now.

If the steelers draft a CB or an ILB that is not a reach, I think the majority would be happy even if it would not be everyone.

The thing I do not want is another project in defense!!! I want a player who can contribute now like Watt or JuJu in 2017 in their rookie season.
