Looks like there's 16 again this year.

We'll probably need to win at least 10 of those if we're going to see any more than that. :noidea:

The Browns games should be interesting. They have a lot of talent and if they get on the same page there could be a new kid in town. On the other hand, the Steelers have had a hard time beating the shitty Browns over the years, now that the Browns seem to have a good team the Steelers will probably destroy them. :chuckle:

Observations like this are why I keep coming back to SU!

I bought 4 tickets to the game here in Arizona on 12/8... I think I might have to take out a second mortgage! The prices for the Steelers game were triple to what their other games were.

I heard that 8 will be at home, and 8 will be away.

Obviously, the opponents don't matter. The location of the games is irrelevant. We remain mindful of where we come from and embrace the challenges that each battle presents. We will defend every blade of grass and endeavor to win each battle by any means necessary. Our goal, as always, is to win a championship. That is the standard here. It is the only basis on which we are evaluated and ultimately judged as whether we have been successful. Obviously....the standard is the standard. We embrace those challenges willingly and enthusiastically.

Yeah, and not liking the fact that after a tour of Ohio back to back weeks, we come home to face then again.

At least 5 anyway... as it stands at this juncture.

2-4 going into the Bye Week. 7-9 at worst...8-8 (most likely)...9-7 at best.

Wins: Bengals, Ravens, Dolphins, Colts, Bengals, Browns, Bills, Jets

Losses: Patriots, Seahawks, Niners, Chargers, Rams, Browns, Cardinals, Ravens

Ninth loss could be Colts...Ninth win could be Niners or Cardinals.

AJRII satisfied with how the prime time games are spread out (unlike 2016 when the Steelers played on a Thanksgiving and Christmas or 2017 when the Steelers had 5 out of 6 games at night from late October through early December while getting stuck playing on Christmas Day for the second consecutive year)

“We have the normal number of primetime games, and the one good thing I’ll say about that is we don’t have back-to-back night games at home, which we had a couple of years ago and we like to try to avoid that,” said Rooney. “I think it’s a good schedule, particularly in that the night games at home are spread out. One interesting thing is that for the first time in a long time that I can remember is we’ll be playing the Cleveland Browns (https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/cleveland-browns) in a primetime game. It’s kind of different to see that on the schedule.”
“It’s the first time we’ve had two Monday night home games in a while, and as long as they tend to be earlier in the season, and these do fall earlier in the season, that’s OK with us,” said Rooney. “You don’t want to have too many Monday night games, but because they’re earlier in the season, that should help.”

Better yet...

The Steelers lose the opener to the Taperiots... and then go on an eighteen-game winning-streak (to win their 7th Lombardi). It’s perfect, because everyone can still complain “Derp, we can’t beat da Pats.”

I'm with Teegre on this one.:tt02:

19-0 and they replace Renegade highlight reel with tweets from AB and others to keep the stone on Ben and Ju-Ju's shoulders sharpened.

@Cardinals and @Jets will be the two stupid losses of the season.

But then again, seeing as I have wholly mediocre expectations for the 2019 Steelers, does it really count as a disappointment if they blow those games?

Anyway, I see 8-8 at best. 9 is generous.

What's so dangerous about a character like Rapaport is he gives good reporters bad ideas. :yup:

Guaranteed to go no worse than 8-8 is a pretty good prognosis. Not as good as the 9-7 Jeff Fisher promised though. Lol!!!! Only the anti-Tomlin people make out your worst season in over a decade was 8-8 into a negative thing. But please continue, do carry on.

Rapoport is very popular. The receivers, linebackers, trainers, water boys, hot dog vendors - they all adore him. They think he’s a righteous dude.
