Great game today guys...well, for you. The Bucs defensive backs gave up 2 TDS WHEN THEY WERE IN PERFECT POSITION TO PICK THE BALL! (Grimm and Talib). The scoreboard doesn't mirror this game.

In either case, the Steelers were the better team all game.

I'm just curious. What do you guys think of Freeman? It means a lot to hear from non-Bucs fans.

Freeman is a young Ben Roethlisberger!

He's going to be a solid QB. He'll probably have some duels against Matt Ryan but he will only get better. Remember, your team started from scratch after they fired Gruden.

I'm impressed. He never really seemed to get rattled, which is saying something, because when our defense plays the way they have the first 3 weeks of this season, they tend to rattle a lot of QBs. He's a baller and he's only going to get better.

Freeman is doing a great job. I think he is only going to get stronger as time goes on.

^ Exactly what he said; Freeman didn't get rattled. You just might have a franchise QB there.

You may have a good future with Freeman .

Freeman did WAAAYY better than Vince Young who has way more weapons on offense, and possibly the best O-line in the NFL. Freeman had a helluva lot less to work with but did good things. A 67.1 QB rating doesn't reflect at all on the performance Freeman had today. He was really pissing us off for quite a while in the 1st half, ask anyone.

A side note tho': A QB is just a QB. As we have demonstrated this year, there's 21 other people that are just as important.

A young Freeman reminds me of the young Big Ben and believe me that's saying something. He had the poise in the pocket and didn't get frustrated and handled our pressure well. He will learn and only get better.

The offense had 307 yds.. Not bad... It's only one lose... Do not be so hard on Freeman...

This defense benched 2 starters in 2 weeks. We will be seeing Marc Bulger by halftime next week

The game was in the bag and we had gone into the prevent by the time he came in.

Freeman looks like he could be a good player for you guys. He stood in there and delivered some good balls. And when he got under pressure, he remained calm, and even extended some plays to find an open receiver. Definitely an impressive performance from him, even in a loss.

Franchise QB? Way too early to tell, but he's doing good things with not much talent around him, so you may just have something there.

Good game today. :)

You're right, the score didn't mirror the game. The first TD in the south end zone should have been picked if Grimm turns around the right way, worse case scenario it gets knocked down. The TD in the north end zone should have been knocked down.

I had one guy behind me mocking Charlie's interception but was a bit whiney when the Steelers took Freeman's INT to the house. Talking about how we just beat a team that was 3-13 last year. Sour grapes whatever, you were 2-0 until 4pm yesterday! A few the bucs fans need to get a better understanding of the game too.

But I digress, I think Josh will be fine. Other than a few bounces that didn't go your way yesterday, the bucs have a good team and now they need to learn how to rebound after a game like this. ANd why not do it against the bungals! Offensively you've got the weapons to put up more points. Defensively you're on the right track.
