Due to recent years, Alabama-Clemson has to be up there.

The traditional ones:

USC-Notre Dame
Michigan-Ohio St

Not a big college football viewer so I'm sure there are others

Based purely on the present Clemson-Bama, yes there's no real history dating prior to the latter half of this decade, but they are competing in the CFP every year and are the two competing powers right now.

Historically, probably ND-USC, based on length, history, great moments, and combined historical success of the 2 schools

Auburn—Alabama is a pretty good one.

From my area its Minnesota Wisconsin. Been playing for Paul Bunyan's axe for 128 years. I believe the longest running contest in the NCAA. Doesn't usually have national implications anymore, but kinda a big deal.

Michigan vs Ohio St or Cal vs Stanford were the biggest while I was growing up. In recent years it seems to be changing to Bama vs Auburn or Clemson. In the bay area Cal Stanford is huge but when teams are not ranked it loses its luster.

What’s interesting about Berkeley - Stanford is that as a graduate (BA, cred, & MA) from UCSD, I am “supposed” to root for other UC schools. But, along with many of my fellow alums, we are annoyed that UC Berkeley claims to be “Cal” when we are all “Cal”.

In other words, UC Berkeley thinks that they are the only one who gets to be called “Cal”. :jerkit:

So... Go Trees!!!
