A reporter asked Tomlin about injuries at his press conference and Tomlin said there was only one significant injury. I was expecting to hear it was Allen, and was surprised when he said Hoke. Apparently, he has a sprained MCL. Depending on the severity, I would think that could be 6 weeks or so. Could be significant if something were to happen to big Snack.

Edited to add: found this site that says usually 3 to 6 weeks.

Shoot, that's not good, we put him in there on passing downs. Even as a full-time NT he's been phenomenal. Ziggy or Eason as the backup?

Eason against running teams and Ziggy for passing teams. Of course if Casey stay healthy then no issue.

McClendon will probably be activated

I hope it's not too serious. Get well soon, Hoke!

Hood saw a lot of time in that role last year for the record.

I thought Allen broke his lower leg, looking at the replay and then I was surprised to see him back in the game when Blount scored the TD run on 4th and goal.

Hope Hoke gets well soon but this can also be a blessing in disguise by giving McClendon more real time game reps to improve for the defenses future.

I'd pick Hood to fill in.
