Are the Steelers still in position to receive a third-round pick for Le’Veon Bell?

It's always a fifth-rounder at best for us. But I bet it turns out to be nothing.

James Conner was a third round compensatory pick for us two years ago.

No, I mean I bet it turns out to be no picks. Or a shitty 7th-rounder or something. Like -

Nelson: "close enough," cancels Bell

Moncrief: "close enough," cancels James

Fort: doesn't count

Barron: weeeeeelll, supposedly he doesn't count, but nobody actually "knows," so we'll kind of make him even out anything else, and Gilbert kind of sucked and didn't really play much, so here's a 7th-rounder or whatever, now shut up and go away. Just draft a shitty fourth TE that you keep on the roster about two years too long, or a lineman that never makes it off the practice squad. Is it an even-numbered year or an odd one, that'll tell you which one to do. Anyway, take it and get lost.
