Joey Porter was the first piece of the Pittsburgh Steelers coaching staff to go, fired (or contract not renewed, if you want to be technical) by the team last Friday. Now, you have to think about his replacement. Let’s assume, though it’s no guarantee, Jerry Olsavsky stays, and the team is looking for just an outside linebackers coach. It’s all guess work, obviously, but here are candidates who make sense. These aren’t listed in any particular order.

Well, Green (and Lloyd) were the two reasons I became a steeler, so I am all for him[emoji106][emoji869]

Definitely can't be Lloyd; he likes pointing guns at people too much.

Or wait... Would pointing guns at the linebackers motivate them more? (I keed)
/ Another vote for Greene, but I doubt he'd take a lateral shift.

Just about any of those guys named would be an upgrade. They all seem to have a track record of successful coaching, that was much more than Porter had.

I really really really really want it to be #5. The response around here would be off the charts.

I would lean more to Jasom Worlidong myself. That would be hilarious on this board to see the minds blown and the dong sack references.

9) Daniel Sepulveda

He hits harder and tackles better than some of the current defenders the Steelers throw out there.

How about Shazier? Granted no coaching experience, but would probably be a heck of a motivator.
