The Pittsburgh Steelers (https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/pittsburgh-steelers)’ loss to the New Orleans Saints (https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/new-orleans-saints) in Week 16 means they not only need to beat the Cincinnati Bengals (https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/cincinnati-bengals) at Heinz Field in Week 17, but they need help. That help will need to come from an unlikely place — Cleveland.

The most likely scenario for the Steelers to make the playoffs is for the Steelers to win, and the Baltimore Ravens (https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/baltimore-ravens) to lose to the Cleveland Browns (https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/cleveland-browns) in Baltimore next Sunday. Talk about important divisional games. After all, this is why the NFL schedules all divisional games in Week 17.

Nonetheless, while the Steelers will be needing to scoreboard watch, they will be doing so later in the day as both their game vs. Cincinnati, and the Ravens game vs. the Browns, has been moved from the originally scheduled 1 p.m. ET game time, to 4:25 p.m. ET.

Don't matter and The NFL wants a KC vs Saints SB! Book it! Saints win 72-65.

Shit. I was hoping the Browns/Ravens game would be over already. Then we could at least spare key players from the cheap shots that they will be getting next week.

Yeah, I'd rather both games be at 1pm so I can start my binge watching on Netflix at 4. Bastards.

I hate to say it but I think Cleveland found themselves a Quarterback... Go Browns!

Here's a sobering thought...If the Browns win and the Steelers lose, the Browns will finish with the same record as the Steelers.

This is true. They're going to come out and do everything they can to have a winning season and knock the Ravens out of the playoffs. Unfortunately, I can't see the Ravens losing to the Browns again. Especially since they'll be in Baltimore.

That is the only scenario. We either back into the 4th seed or nothing. The Titans or Colts who play each other are both 9-6 so one of them barring a tie will be the #6 seed.

With 10 pass interference calls and 10 more "before the throw" drive saving holding calls.

Steelers can do it and the Browns are just the team to be able to upset the Ravens...however, once the Steelers get in, they’re not going anywhere...they just don’t have the it factor...at all.

There's one other way, but it includes a tie between the other two team... So it's somewhat convoluted.

There is one other long shot scenario, where both the Steelers and Ravens win and the Colts and Titans tie, Sunday night. This would put the Steelers at the #6 seed, meaning if the Steelers and Ravens win, I will be tuned in, hoping for a close game Sunday night. The raw date would indicate there is a slightly less than 1% chance this happens based on 2 ties in 240 games played this season, but due to the fact that both of these teams will have a win and your in mentality and the teams are evenly matched, the odds may go up slightly. It would be the ultimate way to back into the playoffs, but how sweet would it be. We would likely go to a banged up Houston team, then to KC who seems to have peaked earlier this year. AFC is wide open. Get in and you have a shot unless you're the Colts/Titans IMO.

One of three things will happen Sunday.

1) Baltimore wins, rendering things moot.

2) Pittsburgh loses to the Bengals, rendering things moot.

3) Steelers back in, lose on Wild Card weekend.

Very little has gone the Steelers way at all this season, and I expect nothing different Sunday.

Who cares? Lots of teams are finishing with worse records than the Browns this year. Just shows what difference a good QB and coach make to a team.

at 1-31 it didn't seem to make much of a difference.
