Saints’ Cam Jordan not buying Ben Roethlisberger as a Hall of Famer

Is Sunday’s Steelers-Saints game a matchup of two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks? Not according to Saints defensive end Cam Jordan (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/6507/cameron-jordan), who disputed the idea that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/1181/ben-roethlisberger) is heading to Canton.
As Jordan was being interviewed in the Saints’ locker room, he was asked about facing “a quarterback who might be going to the Hall of Fame,” meaning Roethlisberger, on Sunday. Jordan immediately put a skeptical look on his face.
“Is that true? Really?” Jordan asked. “You’d put him at Top 5 of this era?”

The last time a team trash talked Ben, they walked off their home field stunned. Football is a tiring, grueling, and emotional sport. The last thing you want to do is give your opponent extra incentive before the game. Especially this late in the season.

Ben's biggest problem are is INT's. He has a ton of them like Farve did and he always seems to throw them at the worst possible time.

Jordan is starting off with a valid argument when comparing him to Brees, Manning and Brady, but then invalidates his argument with he puts Eli and Rivers ahead of him. Ben may not be top 10 all-time but the HOF is not a top 10 club, otherwise they wouldn't put 5 in every year.


And I do think that Ben and the OL feed off of the disrespect card. Jordan did the Steelers a favor.

Rivers slightly ahead in completion % and passer rating along with leading in TD passes (373-359)

To be honest, Ben is not a lock for the HOF IMO. I think he gets in, but it will take a few years, much like Bettis. His early career off the field drama will not help with the voters either.

I think you're smoking something. When Ben is done he is going to be top 5 on both TDs and yards, with 2-3 rings. First ballot.

No offense..but Cam Jordan is a pro bowler and all pro d end. That pass ranking comes from teams passing to catch up all season after being down by 20 + points. Theg have been a stout group and will come after ben on sunday, especially in that dome.
