Great game today. The Steelers really controlled the game. They had to fight off the officials a bit today again, but they got it done.

Ben was excellent today. The OL was terrific. Conner was great and reliable again.

Defense was pretty solid today. Take away the PI calls and it was a solid effort.

Dobbs was incredible on that one play.

No goats today.

It was a team effort!

Bell's supporters on twitter have one less arguments ..... Yes, Conner can be good against good defense. Some said that Conner was only good against bad defense ....

Whole team gets a Gameball.

Josh Dobbs is the play of the game and got his first taste of Steelers/Ravens action. Thrown into the fire. 4th Quarter. 2nd and 20. On the road, need a play, facing down the Ravens backed up. 22 yard strike to Juju that silences the crowd. Hell of an entrance to his NFL career.

Big time CLUTCH throw by the Dobber. This is why he beat out Landry Jones.

James Conner of course.

I might buy my first jersey since my AB jersey that I got 6 years ago.

Game ball: Ben made some great plays. Connor did great again. Dobbs, first pass makes a huge 1st down conversion. Front 7 had some good pressure

Goats: refs, officiating was an embarrassment. As one sided as msnbc. Also defensive backs had too many bad plays

Yeah, but Fouts is such a Steelers hater. Did you hear him defending the Weddle (helmet to helmet) hit? or questioning if Ben's knee was down on the TD? I liked Fouts as a player, but he is probably still bitter for all the abuse he took at the hands of the Steelers over the years.

Where are the gameballs for Butler, Tomlin and Danny Smith?? All I hear is its their fault when something goes wrong. :noidea:

Not really.

The team went into a tough venue and got a team victory IMO.
All of the units contributed; no one unit really hurt us.
They pretty much made the Ravens a footnote going forward.
I didn’t expect this win and the score was closer than the respective levels of play IMO.
Multiple game balls were warranted or as I did one for the entire team and staff. :tt02:

Apparently it is all because Josh Dobbs has a giant pair...

" And according toe Roethlisberger, it was Dobbs’ call to throw it, saying post-game that it was “awesome, can’t say enough about it. It was a run play that he checked to a pass and he was awesome”.

That was such a huge moment in the game. That was very impressive in every way.

The coaching staff obviously had the confidence in him to throw from his own end zone. He stood in there with the rush coming, kept his eyes down field, and made a clutch throw with zero warmups.

All I can say is wow. That was huge on many levels, and tells you a lot about what the coaching staff thinks of him.

He won a bunch of new fans today.

If I only have one game ball... Josh Dobbs. He was put in the most high-pressure situation imaginable: throwing from your own end-zone against the NFL’s top-rated defense with the Ravens having ALL of the momentum. That throw was ballsy... and his completion was the turning point of the game.

JuJu is becoming a big time clutch WR. Even though he had a horrible drop before the half which potentially left points on the field he's been great.

I liked the fact they got the ball to Washington, get his confidence going. I feel like once he makes a big play(feel like one is brewing) he and Ben will start having belief in each other.

Anyone see him sniff out the play where Flacco attempted the pass to Lamar Jackson? the Ravens ran that play early in the game in the red zone and LJ was wide open but Flacco of course didn't see him. The Ravens called the play again and Hilton completely knew it which caused an incompletion. Those are the plays Troy Polamalu made every Sunday.

He's a star player.

Everyone giving Boz the goat, I can't really argue with you; you gotta make that kick. *BUT*...

I'm personally glad he missed it in this case. If we had 1 more point on Baltimore's penultimate drive, perhaps they don't bother with the 3 and go for the 1st down conversion. Perhaps they make it. That 1 point changed the complexion of the game and set us up in a good position to close it out.

And one of those coverage sacks was intentional. Ben took that late sack on purpose today in order to keep the clock running. He could've thrown it away, but chose not to. Very heads- up play and also very ballsy for a guy with a busted finger.

Gameball: who do we not give one to this game? Boz, of course. Anyone else?

I will say this, however, another one of those holding calls that would have been a sack goes to Dupree. The Steelers didn't take the holding this time because it was fourth down, but Dupree is beginning to make his presence felt a bit more. He had another play that I thought perhaps he was held on as well.

Really though...everyone is getting excited because Dobbs threw a 20 yard pass to JuJu. It’s one pass and it’s what he gets paid to do...lol. It’s not the be all end all. It’s not like he threw a Super Bowl winning TD to Santonio Holmes.

Big long tweet

LMAO. He (David Todd) comes out talking about how stats are sometimes contrived, but his isn't. Then he finishes it up with a completely contrived stat. 100 yard rushing games. Really? Last year, Bell had four 100 yard games. Year before, he had 8 100 yard games. Before that, he had 3 100 yard games. Before that, he had 4 one hundred yard games. Total? 20 100-yard games.

I really don't care if we keep Bell or not, but if we're going to play the stat game, at least be honest with it. Don't pick the few stats where Conner comes out better than Bell. Personally, I really have my doubts about Bell playing at the same level. So, I'm all for Conner the rest of the way. But cherrypicking stats is pretty funny.

(Oh, and their 17-3 in those 20 games as well).

One pass when he's cold, hasn't thrown one in regular season and they are backed up at their own 5 with momentum gone to Ravens. You cant say the play won them the game but it was a huge assist. Landry would have thrown a pick or taken a safety.

It was clutch in a very high pressure situation. It was also a very pretty pass lasered dead on target. Not a lot of QBs I know can walk in off the bench cold and do what he did.
I won't say he gets a game ball for it, but I do give him props. If he failed to connect or screwed it up, our odds of winning that game would've gone way down.
For those who are unfamiliar with what Dobbs can do, check this out:
