The AFC Defensive Player of the Week could have gone to any number of Steelers, including Lawrence Timmons and Troy Polamalu (or, hell, the entire unit), but James Harrison officially received the honor after wreaking havoc on Vince Young and Chris Johnson last Sunday. (Deebo had 11 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.)
And while I don’t disagree with Jeff Fisher’s mustache that Harrison’s pile-driving sack of Young was probably a penalty, it wouldn’t have had any bearing on the outcome (if anything, it probably saved VY from another turnover).
