Ben is #1 in passing yards.

Conner is top 5 in rushing yards.

Juju is top 5 in receiving yards.

Brown, the best receiver in the NFL WILL hit his stride.

The defense just held the Falcons to 17 points.

We are only 1 1/2 games behind the men in orange who. we. own.

Am I wrong to be optimistic?

Tomlin teams always start slow. For some reason it seems to take them 5 to 7 weeks to figure themselves out. I think they still need a few weeks to fully hit their stride.

Keith Butler still sucks though and that probably won't change.

Which is exactly why the doom & gloom after the first four weeks of the season was a tad premature.

My issue is the Defense, It has shown up in 1 game. We couldn't call the season a loss after 1/4 of the season and I cant feel confident after one solid performance. The Steelers have 3 Division games in a row which I can see the Steelers going 1-2 in due to the defensive inefficiencies. I dont see my Prediction as being pessimistic, more realistic.

We all knew coming into this season that the Steelers were capable of performing at this level. The frustration comes from the fact that they haven't done it consistently.
I'll wait to see if they can reliably stack wins.
