I actually looked it up and aside from a few variations here and there - Matt Ryan and Ben R are basically the same guy. Ben has traditionally dealt with pressure and been more "escapable" and "clutch" but other than those really intangible things (that may not be true anymore) they are basically equal across the board.

I think Ryan is a really really good QB, but if I have to win one game and everything else is the same, I'm gonna take Ben R over Matty Ice.

All the greats have their bad games and poor throws.

But in an era where its more friendly than ever to the quarterback, Ben leaves a lot to be desired. He has thrown for more than 30 Touchdowns in a season once, and has way too many mediocre efforts in big games and losing to Tom Brady too much to be considered among the best. Even Flacco and Dirty Sanchez was able to hang with Brady, and even beat him in Foxboro. As unfair as we see it, people are going to look at that, and its a big blemish.

Ben is a good QB and will go into the Hall Of Fame, but it will be years before he does.
