To be fair, there were a couple of people on Steelers Nation Radio saying the same things about Ben's deep ball. It's just off right now. Fortunately, it seems that's the only thing that's off about his game and I would gladly trade a deep-ball throwing but more statuesque Ben like we've had the last couple of years for a Ben that can maneuver in the pocket and avoid sacks but have a mediocre deep ball (a la mid to late 2000s). So, despite this one issue, I'm pretty dang happy with the QB at this point. It really makes me wonder what was going on last year around this time when he pretty much sucked.
