Starting this earlier without a steelers game to completely focus on and out of semi-boredom
Falcons 14 Saints 13 (2nd): Drew Brees set the NFL record for career completions
Baltimore 17 Denver 14 (2nd): I don't think Denver is good enough to start 3-0, would be nice for them to beat B'more though
Panthers 21 Bengals 14 (half): Go Panthers, hold the lead
Giants 20 Texans 6 (half): For the sake of Texans fans, I am hoping O' Brien gets fired.
Jags 3 Titans 3 (half): both offenses doing poorly
Chiefs 28 49ers 7 (2nd): loosely tracking online. Chiefs O keeps on rolling
Raiders 10 Dolphins 7 (half): Don't think Dolphins good enough to start 3-0
Bills 27 Vikings 0 (2nd): Nope, that's not a mistake. That's a real score
Eagles 10 Colts 7 (half): a game I am watching. Carson Wentz' knee looks good, making some nice plays
Redskins 28 Packers 10 (2nd): Packers D doesn't look improved after 2.5 games

Colts may actually have a legitimate NFL defense for the first time in Luck's career

Mahomes 20-30/265 yds/3 TD/128.8 rating so far today
Long way to go in 2018 but I do not recall a 2nd year QB on fire like this since '84 Dan Marino threw for over 5000 yards and 48 TDs

Particularly a first year starter who barely played before this year. Marino had some starts under his belt.

Saints 30 Falcons 29 (4th): Back and forth game
Baltimore 27 Denver 14 (4th): Baltimore bouncing back thus far.
Carolina 28 Cincinati 21 (4th): Was 28-14 at one point. Cam with 4 TDs
Giants 20 Texans 15 (4th): Texans coming back
Titans 9 Jags 6 (4th): Bortles too inconsistent.
Chiefs 35 49ers 24 (4th): Defense and lack of killer instinct could hold chiefs back
Dolphins 21 Raiders 17 (4th): Dolphins down by 10 at one point
Bills 27 Vikings 0 (4th): Still. Vikings laying massive egg
Eagles 20 Colts 16: Eagles just scored, but Colts D giving eagles fits
Redskins 28 Packers 17 (4th): Packers seem flat

I've fired up the MojoUW "Lets Fire some Guys!" meter (patent pending) and late in the early games it spits out this list:
1. Mike McCarthy. Opened flat on the road and highly penalized today.
2. Mike Zimmer - I mean c'mon.
3. Someone on the Jags. The Titans? At home?
4. Jon Gruden - seriously, though, he should be fired. This is getting ugly.
Just sayin'. There has been some fugly football being played today!

49ers down 38-24 in the red zone less than 6 minutes left, elect to kick a field goal. Why?

When a drama-laden trainwreck like the Steelers still have a shot at winning the AFC, it just goes to show how bad the conference really is.

Or it could be indicative of the fact that the NFL season is a marathon and not a sprint and nobody gets any trophies in week 3.

Watching that was a bookend to my trip to Heinz last week
Like the Steelers the Falcons can score but their defense could not stop Brees
Never got the ball in OT

Wow. Of all the teams only the Chiefs, Rams and Buccaneers played consistently good until now (the Dolphins are, for some reason, also 3-0).
On the other hand, only four teams still have no win. Houston, Arizona, Oakland and us.
I can't remember any season which had so few dominating teams.

I almost took that game as a no brainer and switched because I figured everyone would do that. I think 9 had that game, 2 had Jacksonville and 1 had the Texans.

Another thing
The cowboys fan starts to miss Tony Romo!
I mean, Dak's rookie year look like more and more a one hit wonder ....I know his receivers are not very good but not have 200 passing yards in 9 in his last 11 years...and passing rating under 70...... ouch
