They're down to their 3rd string QB right? Yeah we got this one too.

3-0 baby ..

We have agreat defense so do they.. But our offense is way better.. Can you believe if we win we could be sitting pretty at 3-0..

This should be an easy win for the Bucs. The Steelers have no QB, the Bucs have home field advantage, and Raheem knows everything about Tomlin (Tomlin gave him all his secrets). Who do they play the following week?

Wait a minute...they own 2 wins over the Browns and Panthers. The Steelers beat the Falcons and Titans with their 3rd/4th string QBs and the defense was dominant in both games. The Steelers gave up 9 points to the same Falcons team that dropped 41 on their opponent Sunday. And some schmo thinks it's going to be an "easy win for the Bucs"? That's fine. Keep giving more ammo for Tomlin to relay to the troops, and make them even angrier. It's Josh Freeman who will have to pay the price.

And trust me when I tell you, Bucs fans...you aren't going to have a "home field advantage." There are a TON of Steelers fans in Florida, and they will take over your stadium the same as every other opponent's stadium.

If anything, this is the worst team we have to face during the first four games. I'm not worried about this and there will be plenty of Steelers fans there.

Well, it will probably be our #2 QB, Byron Leftwich, on Sunday so we might have some semblance of a passing game.

Our defense is unstoppable, and Freeman might not last the game when they ferocity comes after him.

There's nothing that ISN'T funny about this quote, but what I find the most hilarious is he's looking past us and wondering who they play next week. Careful Buc fan ... we just might be one of those trap games. :chuckle:

Exactly what I wanted to hear. Another high on their horse team expecting the Steelers to be a pushover. Though to be fair, Tampa is 2-0. Even if they did beat a Subpar Panthers team and...The Browns.

Falcon fans thought that. Matty Ice was going to torch our secondary and Turner was going to run on us.

Titans fans thought that as well. Resurgent Vince Young was going to torch our secondary and CJ was going to continue his 100 yard streak.

And odds are I'm pretty certain Baltimore will think the same too in Week 4. Especially if the Ravens clobber the Clowns this week.

I've been to 2 Steelers VS Bucs in Tampa and "homefield advantage" is debatable. The one game I was at Testaverde had to call a timeout because he couldn't hear to call the play and it wasn't the home crowd making noise.
Secondly Josh Freeman has not EVER seen the likes of a D like ours!!

Those comments are ridiculous, but you can't blame them. They're just being homers, and I'm pretty sure any fans would be doing the same thing in their situation.

They really don't know what they're talking about, though. This is definitely the worst team we've faced this season. And Freeman is probably the worst QB we've seen. If our defense continues to play like they have been, then Tampa isn't going to score many points. If any.

Some of the fans on that message board said we haven't faced a good passing attack yet. Well, I'm pretty sure Atlanta had a good one, but it just didn't show when going against our defense. We held them to 9 points, and the very next week they put up 41. Tennessee put up 38 week one, only to be held to 11 against us.

Tampa has played two of the worst teams in the NFL, and barely won both games. Freeman has never seen a defense as complicated or as talented as the Steelers defense. The Steelers should win this game, but we all know that we have always had trouble against teams we should beat. It'll be close.

Errrr....The Titans have a better offense and defense then the Bucs. The Titans have the #1 ranked defense and the Bucs are #15. The Titans have the #22 ranked offense and the Bucs are ranked #24. Sooooooooo how are they sitting pretty?

The last two games I went to, the stadium was at least 50% Black and Gold. I have no doubt this Sunday will prove once again that Steelers fan dominate ticket sales in a city where the first home game was BLACKED OUT!

Do these bozos even watch any games besides their own???

They can't even watch their own home games. Welcome to one of the most finicky fan bases in the NFL!

If anything, this is the worst team we have to face during the first four games. I'm not worried about this and there will be plenty of Steelers fans there.

If I was a betting man, I'd go as high as 70% will be Black and Gold, and no less than 50%!

In Week 1, they beat Jake Delhomme who the Panthers released in favor of his backup Matt Moore who the Bucs beat in Week 2 - who has already been benched in favor of rookie Jimmy Clausen.

So you could say that the two offenses they beat so far were led not by a rookie with a 33.8 QB rating, but by his backup, and his #3. :toofunny:

Most of those guys are idiots. They are not bandwagon fans like some people above said though. The only reason they have so few posts is because that site is new and pretty much moved because a site called PewterReport changed the layout and it really sucks so they decided to make a new board.

Not all Bucs fans are like them though. There are plenty of good, reasonable one's out there.

I usually don't post on Bucs board, I stick to General NFL sites. My site is called The Gridiron Palace and we have a good amount of knowledgable Bucs fans (also Steelers fans) over there so you guys can check that out if you want a place to talk with some smart Bucs fans.

Frankly, I'm a little embarrassed that some of my fellow fans are so moronic.

Things in Pittsburgh's Favor:

#1. Pittsburgh owns Tampa head to head. Look it up, but in recent memory that last few times we have played the Steelers it wasn't pretty (well...it probably was for you). This includes the year we won the Super Bowl.

#2. Just because the Bucs started out 2-0 doesn't automatically mean that we can beat the Steelers...we're talking about a team who is winning without a starting QB. A team with the best defense in the NFL.

#3. Our running game is atrocious. The Steelers run defense is magnificent. This could make the Bucs one dimensional.

#4. Tanard Jackson is out (what an idiot...he's probably ripping a bong with Santonio somewhere), so the Bucs will be starting rookie 7th rounder Cody Grimm at FS. He's played well in the preseason, but he is a HUGE question mark.

Things in Tampa Bay's Favor:

#1. Freeman is playing great. Very mobile, yet hard to bring down. He currently weighs around 266 lbs, but very fast also. Deceptively long strides. He has a powerful arm. If he keeps it together mentally, he is dangerous.

#2. Rookie WR Mike Williams. Remember the name. He is playing out of his skull right now. You may hear his name called a lot on Sunday. If someone could tell me, who will be lining up at corner on Williams? Is it Ike Taylor or BMac? Either way, that will be an interesting match up.

#3. There are only 3 teams who have given up 21 points or less throughout two games. Two of those teams will be playing in Tampa come Sunday. The Steelers has allowed only 20 points, while the Bucs have allowed only 21. Also, the Bucs have not given up a TD in the 2nd half of any game so far.

Personally, I'm sticking with my gut instinct, and I hope I'm dead wrong.
