My Bold prediction for steelers: Keith Butler will be fired during the season.

For the NFL, the Browns will win at least 7-8 games this year.

Le'Veon Bell finishes his season on the bench. James Conner rushes for over 1200 yards and never loses his seat as the starter

Steelers get off to a slow start, in part due to the distraction of Bell drama, end up 8-8 with a tough back half of the schedule, and miss playoffs as Ravens win division while Falcons are the first team to win a Super Bowl in their home town.

Nothing close to last season.
The drama regarding Bell is wearing the team down.....we heard it from the players.
The offense will get off to a slow start, then pick it up.
The defense will struggle all year.
9-7
Bye-bye Butler.

Skip Butler will get on the same train with Bell out of town. AB will pass 10,000 yard receiving.

I think 8-8 is the worst case scenario for the steelers...Maybe not record wise, but because some will said again that Tomlin has never had a losing season....

I expect at least 10-6 for steelers

They are not perfect and they have a tough schedule but the opponent who will play against the steelers will also be a challenge for them.

I do not think the steelers will lose each game against the good teams, otherwise it will be a disastrous year.

I'm not worried about the drama, since the drama is nothing new for the steelers. After 2-3 games, this drama is going to be a thing of the past.

Of course, I do not want the same drama that last year, even though the steelers finished 13-3.

This is the year that Butts goes from idiot to idiot savant. Finally have enough decent DBs so that the rush can get home.

The season is a struggle, much like 2005, but the O sparkles and dominates the playoffs and SB.

AB is SBMVP obvi.

BOLD Prediction for Steelers: Defense gels by midseason and becomes insanely dominant. As in doesn't allow any points scored by opposing offenses in 6 games dominant.

BOLD Prediction for rest of NFL: Owners push to make Steelers defense illegal for next season.

-Vance McDonald will be inactive for 10 games, drop 10% of his passes and still make millions.
-Steelers will go 11-5 , win the AFC North and fans will complain all year about "Fire Butler, Danny Smith and ….Tomlin has no discipline on his team"
-Josh Rosen will be NFL Offensive Rookie of the year and the Rams will be in the Super Bowl

I have two bold predictions for the Steelers in 2018:

1) The Super Bowl window slams shut as the Steelers disappoint in 2018, winning 7-8 games and miss the playoffs. Offense struggles due to Players being off the mark and the distraction of Bell combined with the mediocre Defense by Butler. Keith Butler is let go at the end of the season. One year too late. This marks the beginning of a transition with the team. Bell and few other mainstays are shipped off in Free Agency at the end of the year.

Or...

2) Steelers fall behind 17-6 in raucous Cleveland. Its the third quarter and the Steelers on Offense have been mostly horrendous. Myles Garrett makes good on his threat and levels Ben on a QB scramble with 9:40 to go, Ben is carted off to cheers of Classless Clowns fans who rejoice that they finally got the Steelers out of the way. Joshua Dobbs steps into the backup role against Gregg Williams' Defense and ruins Cleveland's party, throwing two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter and reminding the Browns that they're still the Browns.

Going further...

Ben is out for a considerable length of time. Dobbs take the helm, plays above and beyond all expectations and becomes a new hot ticket in Pittsburgh. A new excitement surrounds the Steelers and their surprising young QB out of Tenneseee. Questions naturally arise about what to do when Ben returns. A QB controversy ensues that will shake the season and the city of Pittsburgh to its core.

As far as the NFL goes: The Kansas City Chiefs behind Patrick Mahomes finally reach the Super Bowl.

Ben goes down for the year with a torn acl in game one when Garrett sacks him on a 3rd and 12 in the second series...

Dobbs comes in and throws for 2TDs 239yards 1Int in relief.

Conner runs for a buck 17 with a 2 yard TD run in the 3rd.

AB gets 102 yards but goes without a TD

Juju gets 69 yards with 5 catches and 1TD

J.James gets 18yards which includes a goal line 3yard TD

Steelers defense gives up 117 rushing 282 passing with only 1 sack.

Steelers resign Jones as backup to Dobbs [emoji23]

I don’t think they will go 6-10...I too tend to think it will be opposite and they’ll go 10-6, 9-7 at worst...but I wouldn’t be overly shocked if it did wind up 6-10.

10-6. 2nd Seed in the AFC. After that the picture is hazy.

Watt hits double digit sacks.
Burns emerges as a playmaker with passes defensed and INTS but who can't tackle.
Haden's play falls off a cliff and he just guesses on every route now.
Davis and Edmunds show flashes of being Batman and Robin back there, but can't keep it going consistently.
Bud Dupree has 8 sacks and great work in space. Everyone is left wanting more but wondering if that is enough.
The front 3 is just a wrecking crew. But they can only impact so much.
VW is VW and Bostic is revealed to be Jon Bostic.

Ben has another statistically impressive season with a few clunkers thrown in. His % of WTF throws increases with Fichtner giving him more freedom. To balance it out, his % of "how did he do that!" throws also goes up.
Bell starts by Week 2 in a rotation with Conner. By Week 5, there is no more rotation and Bell has a statistically staggering season. He gets booed at every home game regardless. DeCastro feels so bad he hugs him before each game.
Conner looks great in limited work and fans chant his name in the 4th quarter of every home game. Ramon Foster hugs him.
AB and Jujubee do what they do. Washington comes on by week 4 and makes a series of impressive catches. Everyone else is frustrating at best.
Vance "Mr. Glass" McDonald plays every 3rd week. When he does play he is really impressive. He joins Ladarius Green in the "What Might Have Been" section of the Steeler scrapbook.
Jesse James and Grimble continue to consistently underwhelm. By Week 10, Shoes is camping outside the Steelers facility to demand a TE draft selection high in 2019.
The offensive line is dominant. There are a few injuries and the back-ups come up and play well. Munchak is elevated to sainthood.

For the NFL - All the rookie QBs play well. Deshaun Watson is the real deal. Gruden's Raiders are hot garbage. Bears are good again. Seahawks are not and Carrol tearfully retires at the end of the year. Mahomes lights up the league for 30+ TDs and he also throws 20 INTS. Harbaugh, Hue Jackson, Garrett, and Marvin Lewis all finally get fired.

At some point, and I hope it is never, but those teams have to realize all of those guys are frauds as head coaches. Watching Hard Knocks was truly enlightening and terrifying. The Hue Jackson led Browns do not even know how to practice well. It took Tyrod Taylor to suggest solutions to the head coach. For the Ravens, if it goes bad this season it just makes sense to wipe the slate clean. Go into 2019 with a new GM replacing Ozzie, new QB, and a new coach along with it. Then I hope the cut T Sizzle Suggs and he catches on with the Steelers for one last dominant campaign! And honestly, can anyone explain why Marvin Lewis still has his job?

The only reason why Marvin Lewis still has his job is their owner....

I think Harbaugh is going to stay, same thing for Marvin Lewis, but if things are not going well for Hue Jackson, he could be fired during the season and I would not be surprised if it's Todd Haley who becomes their HC for the rest of the season!

.

I think that's what's going to happen with Ben this year!

He will be the version he was in 2015 ... A true gunslider, but in a good way ... his passing rating would have been around 100.0 without his game against the Bengals on his return from his injury.
