Le'Veon Bell (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/8390/leveon-bell) disputes telling some teammates he will report to the Steelers on Monday.

“Don’t believe the fake news (https://twitter.com/LeVeonBell/status/1034545169100623872), I never said anything to no one,” Bell tweeted Tuesday afternoon.

Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that some Steelers expect Bell to show up (https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/08/28/report-leveon-bell-tells-teammates-he-will-report-on-labor-day/)six days before the team’s season opener. The star running back arrived six days before the Steelers’ first game last season.
Bell played in the victory over the Browns to open the 2017 season but gained only 32 yards on 10 carries and 15 yards on three receptions.

The sides again failed to come to terms on a long-term extension by the July deadline, prompting his holdout for a second consecutive year. He has yet to sign the $14.5 million franchise tender.

I hope he holds out a couple games and Conner runs for about 280 in those games and the Steelers rescind the tag. But it's just wishful thinking...

I hope they have a deal in place when he shows up , he signs and they tell him to clear out his locker he is to report to ( insert shit team here ) and we have a linebacker on the way to replace him on the 53

Ah, I see. Well thank you for clearing that up, Mr. Bell-Einstein. Wouldn't want anyone to have the mistaken impression that you're trying too hard.

“Don’t believe the fake news, I never said anything to no one,” Bell tweeted Tuesday afternoon.

And not to be nitpicking grammar, but if you're going to use a double negative, at least do it right: "I never said NOTHING to no one." I mean, not only does it imply the reverse meaning (he said something and people were listening), that's not even the right way to use bad grammar to sound cool.

Could happen. Not the rescinding the tag part, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him hold out and Conner blowing up

I know Bell is the best back in the league but, I'm tired of his act every year. I hope Connor plays lights out when Bell is not playing or hurt.

Bell is overrated. Yeah I said it. He's good, don't get me wrong, but I'm tired of people talking about him as the best RB in the league, he's not.

He's an above average runner, with good receiving skills, and no breakaway speed. He blows up the stats because of the volume of his workload, but I wouldn't necessarily say he strikes the same kind of fear into defenses like Gurley or Kamara who are a threat to score any time they touch the ball. A past his prime DeAngelo Williams looked great in our offense, it's easier to shine when you have an all-pro offensive line and defenses have to worry about that AB fella
