Scheduling a National Football League team to play at night in prime time is the ultimate show of respect, and as often is the case, the Steelers will appear in five this season.

But Steelers president Art Rooney II says enough is enough. He’d like the NFL to schedule his team for fewer night games, at least at Heinz Field.

The Steelers have played more night games than any other team except Dallas since “Monday Night Football” made its debut in 1970 — 139 games to 157 for the Cowboys. While acknowledging the honor of playing on national television as the only NFL game in progress, Rooney believes doing so may have lowered home attendance at times.

I agree with Art. I don’t like the evening games much either. I’d take 1:00PM Sunday every time...unless it’s the week one Thursday at home!

If AJR II feels so strongly about this then a good start would be to dump the Thursday night games money grab

Of course that is not going to happen

No it's not going to happen, but it's a waste. I can't stand it. Sunday night's the big one now.

over saturation in general is a bad idea with just about anything ( with a few exceptions )
