Tavon Austin is rumored to be talking to the Steelers.

1. kick returner
2. even better punt returner
3. upgrade over Eli Rogers*

*(Rogers had decent receiving stats, but Austin blows him out of the water in rushing stats: 6 total yards vs. 16.5 yards/game and 9 TDs.)

What's a kick return?

He's a pretty dangerous weapon. I always thought that the Rams didn't really know how to use him. He'd be a pretty big upgrade over Rogers. Not the most reliable hands but dangerous when he gets the ball.

After his 2017 year, I'd say peanuts :)

Doesn't Tavon Austin kinda suck at anything besides just running fast? Plus he can't hang on to the ball.

I mean for the vet minimum, sure.

If this was Madden I would be happy with them acquiring Austin, but it's not.

in his first five NFL seasons, Tavon Austin has fumbled 21 times and has only averaged 2.6 receptions for 22.5 yards per game.

I'll pass, especially since he will have other teams also interested in him and will want more than the vet minimum...

Good returner. Bad WR.

Hmmm interesting. Never lived up to his pedigree but always had big play potential. Him as a #4? That'd be ridiculous
