Not the Ravens. With the woundrous Joe Flacco and that trio of WR's.
Not the Bengals. With Palmer, Batman, and Robin.
And most definitely not the BROWNS. Nice showing against the Chiefs to go OH TOO!

Nope. It's us. Remember us? We were supposed to be dead, remember?

I know it's only Week 2, but it's nice to get off to a good start.

I had the Ravens game on another TV and Flacco is a statue. If his o-line doesn't improve he will get buried in 2 weeks.

Gotta love it when the Steelers have chips on their shoulders and having a little retribution to hand out to the opposing team is just icing on the cake. Thank you Steelers for that nice win today keep the mojo flowing.

Hmm who is this Steelers you speak of?? The rest of the football world had written us off. Hines and the boys have said it before and it holds true. We are better under the radar.

It's a long season and we all know anything can happen, but this Steelers lady is damned proud of these guys and what they've accomplished - even in the face of injury and adversity. :applaudit: These first two games have not only showcased the immense amount of talent the Steelers possess, especially on the D, but their character and unity. :tt02:

It's a great feeling knowing the Steelers have started the season 2-0, but it's only the beginning of the season. I just can't wait till Ben is allowed to play again.

2 weeks ago if someone offered me 2-2 for the first 4 games i would say ill take it. i did not expect us to beat 2 pretty good teams with a 3rd string qb but we did (mostly thanks to the de). now i want 3-0!

The Steelers have played well who would have thought we would be 2 and 0 right now.

I had the Ravens game on another TV and Flacco is a statue. If his o-line doesn't improve he will get buried in 2 weeks.

It ain't the O-line; it's Flacco himself. Look, I never claimed that Joe was the Second Coming of Johnny U, but I have said that based on his first two years that he is an up-and-coming QB that can compete. But after these first two games, something is wrong. His actions are mechanical, his passes are either being lofted up (and I don't mean the standard practice of lofting a pass high to give your WR the ability to jump up over the CB, I mean they are sailing like a kite), or they are erratic and/or headed straight to a defender.

Now, maybe this is due to something Flacco has come up with on his own, or it's due to having that total POS (IMO) Jim Zorn as the new QB coach. But whatevr it is, if it isn't straightened out by next Sunday, the Ravens are going to fall from contender to pretender.

See my kudos thread, BTW. I ain't friggin' sayin' it again to yinzes. :D

It's a great feeling knowing the Steelers have started the season 2-0, but it's only the beginning of the season.

This. We're too recently removed from being 6-2 and heading into an "easy stretch" of games (see last season) for me to get too excited at this point. Hell, we haven't even played a division rival yet. This is the best start we could've hoped for but it is only a start.
