Chris Johnson is the BEST RB in the NFL that's who he is. BUT - he went up against the NFL's BEST D this afternoon and they did one helluva job containing him.

He's a great RB but he has done NOTHING against the Steelers. NOTHING.

He's that guy who was shut down, but was still a holding call away from an 85-yard TD.

Steelers have the best defense in the NFL and today's performance on CJ was proof!

Don't forget if it wasn't for that Hold he woulda been shut down!!! Thankfully they called that one.

On the replay they showed when CJ had that run on the Raiders, their NT was also held in the same fashion and it wasn't called. I wonder if the refs had a heads up on that this game. If not for that run last week, CJ would have had 66 yards on 26 carries or something.

I think you got a little tongue twisted there. CJ2K DID get shutdown and it WAS because the refs did a good job on calling that hold.

We can play a game of IF's......If the Steelers don't hold on the TD pass and IF Hines catches that other ball, Batch could have had 2 TD's. BUT that didn't happen.

The refs did their job and the Steelers D did their job. Period.

Nah but maybe what I shouda said was the hold was what gave him the big game instead of being stuffed in the backfield. The refs did their job and made the right call.

Yea. And remember guys they got us to when they called back the TD of Mike Wallace's with the holding call on Scott.

Where I live, 2.12 yards per carry isn't a big game :)

Which was retarded, because Scott didn't need to hold that pass rusher for us to get that TD catch.

Why do you think BOtch had time to throw that into the EZ? It wasn't because of his talent that's for sure. Thank GOD Lefty will be resigned (if he hasn't been already) and most likely get the start next week against the Bucs.

Never implied that. I was merely stating we can all play a game of "If's" If they didn't hold on C Johnson's run. If they didn't hold on the pass to Wallace. If Ward had caught the ball. If, if, if. Bottom line is the score.

I'm not gonna take a single thing away from CJ. He's a pro-bowler and record setter.
The fact that he was unproductive on his last 3 encounters against the Steelers is a testament to our defense.

CJ is about to enter the notorious list which includes Brett Favre, Darrell Reavis, Randy Moss, & Albert Haynesworth. All talk plus too much BS.

That's the "TD" I was referring to.

Charlie would make a far better coach for the Steelers than he ever was a QB imho.

Well as I said before the game, our main objective was to shut down Johnson. If we didn't, it could have been a long afternoon. What also hurt them were the seven turnovers.

He now needs to average 166 yards per game to reach his self-imposed goal of 2,500 yards for the season. Or continue playing like he did Sunday and run for 1,100 yards in the last regular season game.

I can break one for 85 yards if my line holds.

....well.....actually....probably not.
