Maybe he declined the second interview not so much because he wants to be OC in Pittsburgh but that he no longer wanted to work with Todd in that position and was told that would happen?

Here's a different question.

Who would you rather be the OC? Munch, and the O line now has to find a coach to focus on it. Or, Fichtner, and the team has to get another QB coach? Which coach is more important in their current position?

Fichtner is no doubt the front runner.

I expect him to be named OC by at least Friday.

Rumor has it Haley won't be kept, and I'm not sure what to think about it. Yes the situational playcalling could definitely improve, but it's mostly fixable. We scored 42 points against the top defense, it's not like Todd was the reason the Jags scored 45 on us.

Not to mention our offense started to gel midseason, bringing in a new system could set us back further.

I anything, the defense was the reason we lost Sunday. 38 points allowed, 0 sacks, 0 turnovers, 0 redzone stops, 0 tackles for loss. I don't care if you're missing Shazier, this production from our defense is just unacceptable. Butler deserves more of the heat for this one, IMO.

All I can say is if Munch comes back to his old job, Haley must have been a real jerk
