View Full Version : For Whom Are You Rooting: Bills or Jaguars?

There are many reasons to root for either team:

-Go Bills!!!... because, the Jaguars are a tougher out.

-Go Jaguars!!!... because, the Steelers might overlook the Titans.

-Go Bills!!!... because, they’re a good story.

-Go Jaguars!!!... because, then the Taperiots would have to play the Titans (instead of the Bills).

Either team winning doesn’t really change our seeding (e.g. I’ll be rooting for the Taperiots to lose next weekend) nor do I despise either team (again, I’ll be rooting against the Taperiots next weekend). So, honestly, this game doesn’t really affect the Steelers (per se), so... bring on whomever!!!

That said... I kind of want the Bills to win (good story).

Bills, because it’s so hard beating a team 3 times in one year!lol, I always shake my head when I hear that.

Despite the results vs Jax and Tenn, Tenn scares me more, because Mariotta scares me more than Bortles. Plus, while I don't think Tenn can win in NE, I know Buffalo can't.

Hey! What happened to the A$$holes telling us who to root for in these threads of yours? :chuckle:

Was planning to post similar thoughts before I saw this post

Although the concept of a LeBeau defense having a chance and/or clue in Foxboro is highly unlikely

I'm cheering on the Bills. We have a good rapport with them, and as Tiger stated above, it is a good story for the team and their fans. I have no feelings whatsoever for the Jags.

If anyone is rooting for someone based on ability to beat the Patriots, so far doesn't look like either team is capable of winning in New England

I’m with you: I’m definitely rooting for the Bills.

But, man alive, as good as the Jaguars’ defense is, Bortles sucks. :scared:

(As Steelersmania and AtlantaDan said, Mariota actually seems like a tougher opponent.)

Not sure it matters. The Steelers are going to have a bit of trouble with any of the 3 offenses in terms of the running backs. McCoy, Fournette, and Henry pose serious challenges to the Steelers ILBs.

That said, I’d gladly dodge the Jags defense if I could.

Bills are more likely to injure someone or start a fight, so I'll be rooting for that.

Plus they have the better feelgood story and whatnot. Didn't they help us get into the playoffs one year in Week 17 too?

In my opinion judging from the playoffs, Bill have as good of a chance of beating New England as does the Titans, I think Titans can beat the cheats, however Dick LeBeau is the problem, he will play zone blitz and game will be over by the third quarter

The Bills, for all the reasons listed above plus one more: They did us a solid a couple years ago by taking out the Jets.

at this stage of the game, i would like jags to win, because of all the bills injuries expecially to the secondary
