I really pray this is true!

Injured Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier has feeling in his legs, his father said Thursday.

Vernon Shazier gave the update on his son’s condition in an interview with WPXI’s Lisa Sylvester a month to the day after Ryan Shazier injured his spine while making a tackle in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

That is definitely great to hear.

What a scary situation to have gone all this time without feeling your legs.

I was so, so very happy to hear this wonderful news today. I'm sure Ryan and his family are overcome with joy. God heard our prayers. I don't care if he never plays a lick of football again, although I hope he does. I'm just so happy he can feel his legs again.

I have no doubt that Ryan will fully recover and be able to live a normal life. I have a lot of doubt that he will ever play football again though. Let's just hope that he can get healthy.
