The Steelers don’t want to find out what life is like in the playoffs with Le’Veon Bell again this season. That’s why head coach Mike Tomlin rested Bell and a few other star players for the regular-season finale against the Browns.


But if Bell can’t finish the postseason for a fourth consecutive year the backup plan might not be all that bad.


Stevan Ridley, who hadn’t played in the NFL this season before the Steelers signed him two weeks ago, led all rushers with 80 yards on 17 carries in the Steelers’ 28-24 victory against the Browns Sunday at Heinz Field.


Ridley, who once rushed for more than 1,200 yards as a member of the Patriots, also scored his first touchdown in more than three years...........
