...the more I don’t understand the front office this off-season.

1. Timmons is told to basically take a hike.
2. Then they get all thirsty AF about Hightower.
3. Then they spin it that everything is cool and they are good with the guys they have. And Stevie Johnson.

So their plan was to put guys behind Shazier that they have so little faith in that they bring a guy off the street to start over them when Shazier (inevitably) misses time. That was the plan for backing up the lynchpin of your defense? They should’ve had a parade of guys coming through the facility for a look-see during the off-season and into the season in a desperate attempt to find and actual plan.

That is dumber than anything the coaching staff came up with on Sunday.

Yep, totally dumb decision. I posted in the offseason that not addressing ILB depth could backfire, and it has. Shazier goes down and now there isn't an ILB across from VW that can play

They need to give up on Spence, if the Colts cut him then that is all you need to know.
